Diabetes Free SC launched in 2020 with a mission to reduce health care gaps and improve the health of all South Carolinians affected by diabetes. The program is a long-term commitment to transform the health of all South Carolinians by preventing diabetes and its complications in adults, reducing lifelong risk of diabetes in children and improving pregnancy outcomes in women with diabetes.
